Title: Information Assurance System Analyst/Engineer II

Job Description: Provide Information Assurance support to The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Armament Research Development, and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for the development and integration of software systems used by the United States Army and Marines.

Participate in the qualifying of the software and hardware of Mission Command Applications and their interoperability with other systems " Communicate effectively to ensure that all deficiencies are being assessed and addressed to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets.

Support the engineering and software development towards the delivery of Command and Control Infrastructure Ultra-Lite (C2IUl) for the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) v3 and Mounted Computing Environment (MCE) v3. Specifically: " Will provide technical support in support of development and integration of Risk Management Framework (RMF) products, procedures and capabilities which includes participation in Government/Vendor Configuration Control Board. " Implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process " Assist the ISSM (Information System Security Manager) with utilizing the DoD Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) tool as part of the RMF implementation " Support all aspects of the RMF including the following: " System Security Plan " Categorize System " Select Security Controls " Implement Security Controls " Assess Security Controls " Authorize System " Monitor Security Controls " Author the initial System Security Plan and work with the government for updates and approval. " Develop an IAVM plan that meets RMF controls for the system. Requirements: 3-11 years related working experience in Information Assurance " Strong problem solver and proven ability to think creatively and seek optimum solutions. " Analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyze technical, issues and options.

Understand the basic concepts related to DOD IA policies, procedures and deliverables, including RMF, NIST, and FISMA

Experience using eMass

8570 Certified Level 1

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent**

Desired: Experience with US Army Experience with RMF

**Notes Masters Degree equivalent: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and an additional one year worth of experience.

Bachelors degree equivalent: Associate degree (or equivalent) plus an additional two years experience.

Associates degree equivalent: High school degree (or equivalent) and an additional two years experience.

High school equivalent: Passing the General Educational Development (GED) tests

For Experience levels requiring a High School Diploma: A Bachelors degree adds 4 years experience. A Masters Degree adds a total of 6 years experience. A PHD adds a total of 8 years experience.

For Experience levels requiring a Bachelor degree: A Masters Degree adds a total of 2 years experience. A PHD adds a total of 4 years experience.
